Grade 7/8 Band:

  • On Friday October 2nd from 1:15-2:30 there will be start-up clinics taking place where professional musicians have been brought in to assist all beginner musicians. Students who are new to band OR who are changing instruments will be expected to attend. If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to contact Ms. Ramage at giramage@cbe.ab.ca

  • Fees have been added for Cross-Country, Soccer & Basketball
    • Please pay fees at your earliest convenience!

Cross-Country:

  • Congratulations to all of our cross-country runners on a final meet at Confederation Park! We are so proud of all of our runners this season!
  • All of the meets are finished but practices will continue until early October!

Soccer:

  • Our girls’ and boys’ soccer teams both played their first regular season games this week!
    • The girls won 5–1 against Ted Harrison on Tuesday. They’ll play Crossing Park and Genesis next Thursday.
    • The boys won 2–1 against Crossing Park at home on Wednesday. They’ll play Prairie Sky next Monday.

Basketball:

  • All four of our basketball teams have finished tryouts and started practicing this week!
    • The boys played at Crossing Park on Tuesday, September 22. 
    • The Jr. Boys played Prairie Sky at 5:30 p.m. and lost, while the Sr. Boys played Annie Gale at 6:30 p.m. and won.
    • The Sr. Girls played at Ted Harrison on Wednesday, September 23. They won against Prairie Sky but lost to Ted Harrison.
    • The Jr. Girls will host their first two games of the season at Peter Lougheed on Monday, September 28, against Clarence Sansom and Terry Fox.
