Physical Education
A reminder that we will be doing some outdoor modules during winter months and the students need to come prepared with jackets, sweaters, hats, gloves or mitts and boots can be beneficial too to keep feet from getting cold.
Athletics
This week in basketball our junior teams and senior boys did some practicing to prepare for their playoffs starting next week. Our senior girls team finished their regular season off with a win and a tie and finished fourth in the regular season. Congrats to the girls on a great season and good luck to them in the playoffs. Our senior teams on Friday are playing in the feeder tournament at Nelson Mandela High School and will have a chance to show off their skills for future opportunities at the high school level.
A reminder to parents with athletes on the basketball and soccer teams that we need you to pay your team fees for us to be able to pay our referees, our tournaments and our end of season party. Please pay the fees in MyCBE. Also we need our soccer players to return their jerseys or parents will be charged for the amount of a replacement jersey.
Our wrestling team have had a couple of practices and are preparing for their first tournament. If your child is still interested in joining the team please see Mr. Barisow to get the information needed to be on the team.
