Athletics

Good luck to our boys and girls wrestling teams as they compete in the Thunder Takedown tournament this weekend at Peter Lougheed School. Girls compete Friday evening with action beginning at 4:00 pm. Wrestling begins Saturday at 10:00. Go Thunder!

Physical Education

Our students this upcoming week will be doing their dance module. Students were given a choice of what they would like to do for dance which included hip hop, bhangra, dance creation or dance research.

Our deadline for ski/snowboard forms is this coming Friday. We also ask that for students going that parents pay their fees on Powerschool. For students that are still interested in going forms can be picked up in the main gym from any of the Physical Education teachers. We still have 30 spots available in grade 9, 23 spots in grade 8 and 10 spots left in grade 7. We would love to fill this trip up and students from the past have said it was one of their most enjoyable field trips they have been on. For parents wondering where the students will be here is a link to the website https://www.winsport.ca/ and students will spend most of their time at the lower sections of the hill unless they are more experienced.
