Athletics
Our boys and girls teams finished off their regular season this week with games against Terry Fox School. Our juniors boys team just missed out on playoffs by splitting their games against Terry Fox and our senior boys team wrapped up their season of play with a couple of tough losses and also missed out on playoffs this year. On Tuesday our girls played at home where our junior girls split their match in two super close sets and finished fourth in league play and will play in the playoffs on Monday at Annie Gale School. Go Thunder Go!! Our senior girls won both of their sets on Tuesday playing their best volleyball of the year. The girls gained a lot of skills over the year. Our senior teams are playing in the Nelson Mandela Feeder volleyball tournament this weekend on Friday so good luck to them in their last games of the season. If you have not paid your fees please do so as soon as possible.
Badminton tryouts will start up when we return from spring break starting with the 6’s followed by the 7’s, 8’s and 9’s. If your child is wanting to tryout they need to ensure they have handed in their athletic tryout purple form in to the PE department.

Lots of students are coming to school unprepared and are having trouble participating in their modules because of this.
