Reminder | Human Sexuality forms 

In accordance with Section 58.11 of the Education Act, Alberta schools must now obtain written consent of parents prior to providing instructions or materials that deal primarily and explicitly with human sexuality, gender identity or sexual orientation. Students are unable to participate in this portion of the curriculum unless consent is explicitly granted. 

The forms required to opt-in to lessons Human Sexuality at PLS were sent home this week.   Regardless if you are opting in or out, please ensure the forms are returned as soon as possible so that PLS teachers can follow-up on missing paperwork.   Your help is kindly appreciated. 

Reminder | Non-Instructional Day March 20 

There are no classes for students on Friday, March 20. 

Reminder | PLS Closed for Spring Break 

Peter Lougheed School will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 23-Friday, March 27.   Classes will resume on Monday, March 30.
