Physical Education
Another reminder to all our students to please come prepared for Physical Education daily, especially now that there is snow on the ground. This means:
- Proper Footwear
- NO Crocs or Sandals
- Proper Outside Clothing (if your module is outside such as broomball)
- Winter Coats
- Mitts & Toques
- Boots (if possible)
- Water bottle
- We cannot always allow students to go and get a drink, especially if we are outside for Phys. Ed. If you bring a water bottle, you can get a drink anytime you’d like without asking!
- We are still seeing too many students without a water bottle. We would like to see all our students have a water bottle in class.
Athletics
Congratulations to all our volleyball athletes who made our Jr. & Sr. Teams!
Volleyball fees have been added to PowerSchool and can be payed anytime. Please see the following breakdown for fees:
- Team Fees: $20
- Tournament Fee: $25
- Celebration Fee: $5
- Total: $50
Parent letters should have gone home with the athletes this week, and all the information regarding the season can be found in the letter. Please make sure you read through the student athlete expectations sheet and emphasize the importance of this code of conduct with your athletes. Please e-mail Mr. Masson (kdmasson@cbe.ab.ca), if you have any questions or any of the Volleyball coaches if you have any questions.
Next week, all our teams will begin exhibition games. Our Jr. & Sr. Girls are hosting their first game vs. Prairie Sky & the Jr. & Sr. Boys will be playing AWAY @ Dr. Gordon Higgins school. Please see the more detailed schedule below:

Band Parents
Please ensure you have paid ALL fees on PowerSchool. There are quite a large number of outstanding fees. If you have questions about the fees on your child’s account, please don’t hesitate to contact me at giramage@cbe.ab.ca
Grade 7/8 Band Camp
The first of many forms was handed out to students on Friday January 16th. Please fill out ASAP and have students return forms to me by Wednesday, January 21st.
