Dear PLS Students & Families,
We had a wonderful evening filled with music on Thursday featuring our Grade 7 Band, Grade 8 Band, solo and small group ensembles, a Drama Club scene and special guests Mr. Warkbinkek and his R&B Band from Nelson Mandela High School. Thank you to Ms. Ramage and her supporting teachers for making this happen!
Band Camp
Students from our Grade 7 and 8 band will be away at band camp from Monday, February 9th to Wednesday, February 11th. We are very excited for this opportunity to connect and play music!
Teachers’ Convention & Family Day
Please recall that PLS will be closed for Teachers’ Convention (Thursday & Friday) and Family Day (Monday).
Semester 1 Report Cards
Semester 1 Report Cards will be available in PowerSchool on February 24
Student Progress Conferences
Student Progress Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 26 from 5pm-8pm and Friday, February 27 from 9am-1pm. The conference window will open for families to book meetings with their child(ren)’s teachers on Wednesday, February 18 at 9am.
Ski Field Trip
Students going on the ski trip MUST PAY to be allowed to go!

The Sr. Boys next game is at home against Clarence Sansom on Tuesday, February 10th @ 5:15-6:15pm.
Sr. Girls:
The Sr. Girls next game is at away @ Clarence Sansom on Monday, February 9th @ 5:15-6:15pm.
Jr. Boys:
The Jr. Boys next game is at home against Clarence Sansom on Tuesday, February 10th @ 4:15-5:15pm.
Jr. Girls:
The Jr. Girls had their tournament @ H.D. Cartwright this past Thursday & Friday. The girls played very well and lost to a talented H.D. Cartwright team 23-25. The Jr. Girls next game is @ Clarence Sansom on Monday, February 9th @ 4:15-5:15pm.
