Winter Break (December 20, 2025-January 4, 2026)
The last day of classes is Friday, December 19. Classes resume at 9:05am on January 5, 2026. Best wishes to all our staff, students and families for a safe and healthy break.
Locker Cleanout
Peter Lougheed students will be cleaning out their lockers on Wednesday, December 17 under teacher supervision. Please consider sending your student(s) with a grocery bag to bring home extra belongings.
Lost & Found
Lost and found items not claimed by end of day on December 19th will be donated to charity. Please remind your child(ren) to check for missing items. Our lost and found is located in the Gathering Space by our student microwaves near the Learning Commons.
Physical Education
Another reminder to all our students to please come prepared for Physical Education daily, especially now that there is snow on the ground. This means:
- Proper Footwear
- NO Crocs or Sandals
- Proper Outside Clothing (if your module is outside such as broomball)
- Winter Coats
- Mitts & Toques
- Boots (if possible)
- Water bottle
- We cannot always allow students to go and get a drink, especially if we are outside for Phys. Ed. If you bring a water bottle, you can get a drink anytime you’d like without asking!
- We are still seeing too many students without a water bottle. We would like to see all of our students have a water bottle in class.
Athletics
Cross-Country
We still have some cross-country athletes who need to pay their athletic team fees. The fee is $5.00.
Soccer
Another reminder for ALL girls & boys soccer players & parents to please pay your child’s athletic fees.

We need all families to pay athletics fees as soon as possible, so we are able to cover costs for our athletic programs in the future. Preferably, it would be great if we could have all cross-country, soccer & basketball players paid before Winter Break. Thank you, parents!
