Physical Education
An email went out to all parents about our upcoming human sexuality module. If your child is opting out and not taking this class parents need to submit the form back to the students pe teacher. The form was located in an attachment at the bottom of the email sent.
A reminder for parents to please pay for the ski and snowboard field trip on PowerSchool if your child attended.
A reminder that we will be running outdoor modules all spring and students in these modules need to come to class prepared with sweaters, warm pants, jackets, mittens/gloves, hats or hoods, warm socks and snow pants and boots are beneficial but are not mandatory. Lots of students are coming to school unprepared and are having trouble participating in their modules because of this.
Science Fair
Congratulations to all students who represented Peter Lougheed School at the Calgary Youth Science Fair on Saturday. Sixteen students presented projects and received honourable mention, bronze, and silver medals. We are very proud of everyone’s hard work and accomplishments!
Please return any borrowed trifolds to school this week. We will hold one more wrap-up and celebration Science Fair club meeting on Wednesday, April 17 from 4:00-5:00 pm.
